Tell us a little about you(your background and how was it like)?

I was born in Maryland. I had a boundary exception since my mom was a teacher so I didn’t go to a school nearby. It was hard for me to make friends since I don’t have anybody from my school that lives in my town. But, I’ve made friends on Twitter since we all like the same band, Waterparks. Waterparks means a lot to me. I’ve seen them 4 times and I’m seeing them twice in November and I’m only 15 lol. My friends on Twitter mean a lot to me, they always make me laugh and happy. I even met one of them at a Twenty One Pilots show!

What do you value most from your country?

The freedom we have. Especially gay marriage. I’m apart of the LGBT+ community so it’s great we’re allowed to marry whoever we want. It sucks that there’s still people in the U.S that don’t accept others for being themselves. It’ll take time to change their thoughts on others.

Who influences you to go after your goals?

My teachers at school. My music and art teachers help me through a lot and tell me everything will be okay <3

What advice can you give a teen about going through hardships?

That there’s always help! I’ve struggled through depression for almost 3 years before I decided to talk to someone and get medicine. I thought I was alone or could handle it myself but I realized there’s nothing wrong with asking for help to better your life.

If you and only three wish to change your family or the world’s life what would they be?

1) Be accepting of all people
2) End societal standards for men and women
3) More people helping climate change
