Just know your not alone. There are other people going through the same thing, it could be the prissy princess from school

Name
Annalise smythe
Tell us a little about you(your background and how was it like)?
I’m 13 years old, but don’t let that fool you, I’ve gone through my fair share for such a young age, I have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety, I suffered from self harm and more. My ethnicity is mixed, my dad is(white) German, Irish etc, and my mum is(black) indigenous Australian.
What do you value most from your country?
I value the people and area. I love my culture on my mums side, I love the surroundings, the people and more.
Who influences you to go after your goals?
Well I have heaps of people who influence me, as a woman of colour, beyonce definitely played a big role in my life. My parents for just raising me for who I am today. My grandparents on both sides for teaching me my culture and beliefs. I also thank god for everything
What advice can you give a teen about going through hardships?
Just know your not alone. There are other people going through the same thing, it could be the prissy princess from school, or the popular jock that everyone adores, your teacher, your employer, your who ever. I know it’s hard but find a way to speak up about your situation, even tho it takes a long time and getting used to, you will get there someday.
If you and only three wish to change your family or the world’s life what would they be?
Police brutality to black people and minorities, to help people learn about there backgrounds and cultures no matter what it is, and just to care a little more for the people around you
Was there a time u helped others out?
I mean definitely, I am a very understanding person. I might not have been in your situation but I sure know how to understand you, so friends definitely talked to me about stuff, one of my friends had an eating disorder and others went through bad stuff as well.
Are you happy in the position you are now in life?
I mean I definitely am compared to what I was 6 months ago. I was never happy, always crying, not having hope, self harm, wanting to die at such a young age but i got through it with a story I’m willing to tell on this podcast, but atm I’m definitely better but still I am struggling a bit and not where I want to be but am working to get there
What questions would you like me to make next for the new interviees coming to the website?
I don’t really know, I like all the questions
