Ty’Unna Chubb
Tell us a little about you(your background and how was it like)?
When I was younger, I had an amazing life. Raised by a single mother, youngest of two. My family was my support team in anything I encountered. I was the victim of bullying in many ways but overcoming it was easier. I’m not saying that my life isn’t still amazing but everything was easier. My only worry was music. I could hum melodies before I could talk & as soon as I could talk, I began to sing. I developed more than a love for music. Itwas my coping mechanism, my meditation, it was, and still is, everything to me. Whether it be making or listening , it’s my passion, my hobby , it’s my life.
What are the bad things you see on social media?
I see a lot of discouragement. Not always directly but I see it more than I see anything. I love all things positive so it discourages me as to see others discouraged.
What are the hardships you go through?
I am bully and taunted quite a bit but as I said earlier, music has become my number coping mechanism.
What are your goals in life?
One of my goal is to use my gift of singing to help and benefit others around me. One of my other goals is to complete college with a major in psychiatry and open up my own practice. But ultimately, i want to help other people in whatever it is I decide to do.
What would you do if you could change the world?
I would be a motivational speaker. I would tell people my story and show them that they’re not alone and that anything is possible when you put you’re mind it. You can get through absolutely anything if you try.
Are you happy in the position you are now in life?
Yes, I am happy with where I am, but I desire to be in a much better and higher place not only physically, but emotionally and mentally as well.
