Jaylah Taylor
Tell us a little about you(your background and how was it like)?
I’m standing at about 5’7. I’m from a family of different ethnicities and nationalities. I live in the city of Chicago. This city is filled with violence and it’s scary to even go outside sometimes because you never know what’ll happen.
What are the bad things you see on social media?
I see a lot of negativity towards people on social media. We have people who make jokes out of serious circumstances. There are people who are bullied on the internet. People who just don’t care about what others go through or are too immature to understand what others go through so they joke about it.
What are the hardships you go through?
I have been manipulated, used, lied to, damaged by people who I thought would never do me like that. I had to learn to not trust anybody because they can switch up on you at any minute. Although I do not like to blame my past for anything, trusting is a very difficult thing for me.
What are your goals in life?
My goals in life are to graduate, make as much money as possible, attend the college of my choice, and get the dream job I desire.
What would you do if you could change the world?
If I could change the world, Donald Trump would no longer be president. Immigrants wouldn’t be separated from their families. The homeless would no longer be home less. Racism and discrimination wouldn’t be tolerated. Crimes committed by police officers would sentence them to life in prison instead of only between 10-20 years
Are you happy in the position you are now in life?
Right now, I am aiming to be happy. I still have things that need to get done before I am satisfied. I’m happy but I’m not as happy as I want to be.
What questions would you like me to make next for the new interviees coming to the website?
How do you feel about the way the immigrants are being separated from their families?
