Poorness and incomprehension of country where I’m living

Name
Stepanov Artem
Tell us a little about you(your background and how was it like)?
I’m from Russia. My family ain’t unordinary and it’s very common to see in Russia. I ended school year ago and during my studying I was learning English. Now I have pretty nice level of English, but I’m still improving it.
During school life I was easy-bullied because I was obese. And in school I realised that I’m gay. For a long time I was hiding this, but one time my friends started to make coming outs and it helped me a lot. My friends helped me a lot to accept myself. But as I live in Russia and it’s pretty homophobic country I’m trying to hide my “secret” so I won’t get in trouble. I know a lot of lgbtq+ people are bullied or even killed in Russia, but I’ve never felt something like that on myself and I hope will never feel.
