Tell us a little about you(your background and how was it like)?
I am a freshman in college. I study journalism, Im also in 3 choirs. Im am Alto 1 in the Northern Chorale, and a soprano in two church choirs. I love music and writing. Im a devoted Catholic, I also love korean culture. I speak french and learning to speak korean. I was born in Hawaii on the big island. For most of my life I have had a lot of good times. However, I started to be severely bullied during middle school and highschool. I changed from traditional public school to home school after my freshman year of high school. being home schooled helped me tremendously, both academically and emotionally. Though there have been some hard times, I know I have grown a lot from them. With the trials and good times in life; they both shaped me into the person I am today.
What do you value most from your country?
I value freedom of speech and the right to bare arms, and patriotism.
Who influences you to go after your goals?
My roommate Hannah, and my Mom.
What advice can you give a teen about going through hardships?
Dont let your self break down to much. I went through so much pain and suffering growing up, that I know what its like. I remember being depressed and isolated that it made my hardships worse. Always turn to God, praise him always during hard times and good. Rise above those pains and know that this is a learning experience. Let it strengthen you.
If you and only three wish to change your family or the world’s life what would they be?
1. to change how much pain is in my family
2. to make the world a better place by agreeing to disagree with eachother and loving eachother for who they are.
3. to make the world a more holy place to be in.
Was there a time u helped others out?
There was. I have done a lot to help others but the most memorable would be going to Ghana, Africa to help children in elementary school learn english.
Are you happy in the position you are now in life?
I am very happy.
