Justice Waller’s Story

Introduce Yourself: Justice Waller

Thoughts On People In The World?: Today the society resembles the society from the 1600s- late 1960s it’s just been masked by technology and politics that have our mind fully wrapped and locked in a bind. I believe that the mental health/suicide epidemic is just as big as the opioid crisis but as a society we don’t pay any attention to it due to the fact that it’s not broadcasted nationwide. The only time mental health gets an inch of tv time (for the wrong reason) is when a school, mass, or vengeance filled shooting rampage has happened. The only time suicide or suicide prevention has hit main stream is when Anthony Bourdain killed himself and CNN partnered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention teamed up to do a special on suicide prevention in America.

What are your inspirations & goals?: Clinical psychologist, social and racial activist, and taking my suicide and prevention program S.A.D.P. (Suicide and Depression Prevention) nationwide in schools, workplaces, everywhere

How would you impact the world?: By being able to make those who suffer from mental disorders or suicide contemplation realize that they are loved and somebody in the world too and that it’s ok to be yourself and talk to someone, also by leading the fight in receiving social and racial justice for all minorities

Struggles In Life? : I’ve been poor, mentally and emotionally abused, attempted suicide, been racially profiled, called racial slurs

How do you feel about yourself? Any changes you would make? : In life you can’t become a better person without struggling so no

What does love mean to you?: Love is something that’s special it doesn’t have to be in a relationship it could honestly be genuine love a person has for each other. Love is caring, checking on, real, and truthful
