Gala Interview

Introduce yourself?: Hey! My name is Gala, and I’m almost 17 years old!

What inspires you everyday?: Music has always been a giant part of me. I feel like it’s THE way to express yourself and it’s a beautiful outlet for creativity and diversity.

What is something you would change about people in the world?: Something I would change about people is their kindness towards others. We’re all genetically 99% the same, so why not treat each other the way people deserve to be treated, and let’s stop believing we’re better than others due to our differences in skin color, or genitalia, and let’s start sticking up for each other and treating everyone fairly, because it’s about time.

How do you feel about the people in the world?: I feel like people need to make a change (desperately) because as of right now, we’re headed towards a path that is not bright, and as long as we keep living the way we’re living, there will be no hope for the future of humanity

What is something you’ve struggled with in life?: I’ve struggled with a lot of things, for one, my disability. I had a staphylococcal infection that disintegrated my C1 and C2 Vertebrae, as well as my right hip bone. I am in a walker and since I do have problems, it feels like people have the right to treat me worse than their other peers, which is totally unfair, but understandable. I’ve also dealt with personal things that I can’t really share.

What is a positive message you would give others?: A positive message I want to give people is don’t let others bring you down, don’t let assholes affect you when they say “you’re outfit is horrible” or “who lied to you and told you that looks good” because you have the right to dress however the hell you want. If you want to pursue a hobby or a new aesthetic, fuckin DO IT BABE!

what is some things you wanna tell people in the world and be honest? : I don’t really know, lol
