Tori Interview

Introduce yourself?: hi, i’m tori and i’m fourteen years old. i am an only child and have lots of animals!

What inspires you everyday?: to be fairly honest, i don’t have much motivation to keep trying. the fact that i am just a speck of a huge world breaks me down and makes me feel as though i am unimportant. my main goal in life is to graduate highschool, get an apartment in jacksonville, florida and go to a small college to get my registered nursing degree and continue on working to become a midwife afterwards really is what inspires me. without me being so organized and ambitious about my future, i don’t know where i’d be right now.

What is something you would change about people in the world?: something i would change about people is probably the fact that there is something similar to the food chain with animals, except the animals would probably be people. i’ve seen so much where the top of the food chain starts to dominate everyone and break everyone down until the gain ALL of the power. i think the world would be so much easier and better without that.

How do you feel about the people in the world?: i can’t say i appreciate most people. animals and nature are definitely more of my thing. i don’t take a liking to many people. it’s usually me and my small group of three girls against the world. i perfer to stick with a few friends and being alone doing what i enjoy.

What is something you’ve struggled with in life?: i’ve definitley struggled with finding out who i am. i know that’s definitely something everyone goes through but in my case it was more than just ice cream flavors and friendships. for me it was more like body positivity, rebellion, athletics, sexuality and more. i’ve had some problems online due to the fact that my best friend is an internet friend but before that, i was catfished which led to some serious trust issues, anxiety & depression.

What is a positive message you would give others?: i’ve seen so many people my age practically acting like they’re already in their 30’s. please take your time growing up and try not to miss out on being a teen because i promise you, the time to adult will come.

what is some things you wanna tell people in the world and be honest? : to people who have undiagnosed mental health issues: please do not use your supposed problems to take advantage of it to receive special treatment. especially if you are tge source of where the difficulties are starting.
