Jason Interview

Introduce yourself?: My name is Jason. I’m 17 years old and am a senior in highschool.

What inspires you everyday?: I would say that my family inspires me the most. I see how hard they try to help me achieve any goal I have for myself no matter the cost. I’d also say my good friend Adalberto (may he rest in peace) inspires me that we never know when our time is to go so to make the most out of everyday.

What is something you would change about people in the world?: I would definitely change the mindset of people in the world. I’d change those who are violent to find a better use of their time. I’d change the mindset of those who envy others that are more successful to get up and grind to be just as successful.

How do you feel about the people in the world?: I feel like most people are going the wrong way. I feel that people are looking towards an easy yet harder way to live. People are looking to sell drugs and gun violence to put food in the cabinets instead of following their real dream careers because it’s “to much work”

What is something you’ve struggled with in life?: Thanks to my mom I haven’t struggled to much and I’m forever grateful. However growing in a house of 9 it is very difficult. Not being able to eat really because ain’t enough food and seeing my mom struggle really hurts as well.

What is a positive message you would give others?: Live the life YOU want to live. Don’t let others control and influence you. Be the wave not the surfer . Take risks because regret is the worst feeling. Avoid creating that question of “What If I did” but be able to say “I did that”.

what is some things you wanna tell people in the world and be honest? : I’ve been scared to take risks and I regret some decisions to this day. I always think of life like basketball in a way. If you have the ball and never shoot. You have 0 chance to score but if you stay taking shots your gonna make something happen. And with more shots comes more success.
