Izzy Lewallen Interview

Hi! My name is Izzy Lewallen. I am a student in the US, specifically Wisconsin. I own one cat and would love more, I play the ukulele, and stick up for what I believe in.

What inspires you everyday
Two huge things that inspire me are the people in my life who constantly prove how much they care for me, and listening to music. It keeps me going throughout my day.

What is something you would change about people in the world
I don’t want people to change and I would love them to be themselves. But, I would change their view on judgement and equality and how everyone should see the good in people.

How do you feel about people in the world
I believe there are good people in this world, but also bad. I try to see the good in everyone because we all have value. I noticed how everyone balances out. What I mean is, for example, if someone seems so perfect to you, good at sports, pretty, smart, they have one “flaw” that makes them different then you expected. “For every perfection, there is an imperfection”.

What is something you’ve struggled with in life
Sometimes I struggle with school and my learning capabilities. It takes a lot of work and motivation, but I finally found out how to enjoy school, and learning new things everyday. You would be surprised on what you enjoy.

What is a positive message you would give others
Smile through the hard times, laugh even! These two things help a lot. I would also love to be able to tell people that even when it seems like the world is going to end, it will be okay! If you think about it, it always is. I know people hear that a lot, but it’s all about mindset. Show yourself that everything is okay and you 100% should choose happy. Life is worth living!

Last question if you could make a difference in the world how would you do that
I would make a difference in the world by somehow proving that every single human on this earth is the same person and how we look or where we live shouldn’t matter. EQUALITY
