Justin Ruffin Interview

Well. My government name is Justin Ruffin. But my stage name is Justino or Steeno. I came from bladenboro North Carolina. Round Branch to be more specific. I started rapping around the age 13 but it wasn’t really serious until I turned 17. I dropped my first EP BranchedOut in January 2016. My second EP “ ‘97 TiL Infinity” was released in November 2016. That’s when my buzz started coming in. This year on August 12th I released “The Honda Accord Project”

What inspires you everyday

Everyday I wake up…I always think how can I change the world through my music and my words.

What is something you would change about people in the world
I’d probably say…..stop trying to fit in. Just be yourself. A lot of people in the world like to follow trends and the wrong trends is trending.

How do you feel about people in this world with all the hatred and selfishness.
I feel like the people who are pushing hatred are what’s wrong with the world. Seems like only God can save them 🤷🏾‍♂️

What is something you’ve struggled with in life
When I was younger I used to get down on myself and was scared to tell people I loved to rap. I got over that stage in life when I turned 17 and I decided to go for my dream. Now I’m trying to live them.

What is a positive message you would give others
I’d tell anybody I met to always follow their dreams no matter what anybody says. Even when life knocks you down and you feel like quitting. Don’t.

Last question if you could make a difference in the world how would you do that
I would definitely start with education. Take all the bs kids don’t need to learn and replace It with things they do like how to manage money because most people graduate high school and college not knowing. Secondly, I’d make a change with government officials because majority of them don’t really care about the people they’re supposed to be serving…
