Asher Bassett Interview

Hi my names Asher Bassett im 13 years old i live in whangarei new zealand

What inspires you everyday

My mum and dad they are a huge part of my life always there supporting me and being with me and i want to make them proud

What is something you would change about people in the world

The hate. There is so much hate in the world. Wars threats to bomb countries they are all caused by hate. If only everyone could just get along

How do you feel about people in the world

The way i think is for every bad thing happening in the world there is a thousand laughing babies and little kids having the time of their life in a candy store. I like to think more positively. I think the good people in the world far outweigh the bad people in the world. I just feel news channels are more prone to put bad things on the news

What is something you’ve struggled with in life

Ive always struggled with fitting in and being accepted. Its because i act differently to whats “cool” i dont behave like them so they pick on me for it people dont like when you are different or when your an individual

What is a positive message you would give others
Dont worry about the bad people say about you. When you die you will not die with their feelings you will die with yours so be content and know that you arent useless. Once you are truly happy none of what they say will make it through to you

Last question if you could make a difference in the world how would you do that
Its called a ripple effect so one nice thing makes someone happy and they do nice things so he next person is happy etc etc i cant do much in the way of charities because being only 13 i have no money to give but i give every time i have money
