Lara Interview

Hey, I am Lara

What inspires you everyday

I’m religious, so Jesus Christ always inspires me to go be an example and do the best I can. also, there’s this band I love called Twenty One Pilots. They send an important message throughout their music and knowing i’m not alone in my struggles inspires me to be strong and be kind to others.

What is something you would change about people in the world

There is so much hate and judgement in the world, and if I could change one thing, it would be for more people to just be more accepting and understanding, and put our differences aside to help us to not be afraid to be who you are in this judgmental world.

How do you feel about people in the world

Depending. There are so many great people and seeing those people makes me feel happy and have hope. But then there are so many bad people who make me feel hopeless and mad.

What is something you’ve struggled with in life

I’ve struggled with emetophobia. It’s the fear of vomiting. it sounds quite odd but it’s actually more common than you think. It’s very crippling. Unlike a fear of spiders, you cannot avoid becoming sick. It’s so out if your control and you can’t escape.

What is a positive message you would give others
to keep going. even when things get hard. there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. happiness will come, but you have to work towards it. so just hold on a little longer and do your best. pain will heal.

Last question if you could make a difference in the world how would you do that
i believe i am making a difference right now. just by being kind to and serving others. i believe that if we all spread positivity and work towards loving more, we can all make a difference.
