Sydney Interview

I’m Sydney, I’m 15, and I live in Tampa, Florida.

What inspires you everyday

When I’m doing art, I draw and sculpt glorified girls. I think girls are probably one of the most beautiful things on earth. To set goals, I’m inspired by a spite for my parents putting me down. I remind myself to do something successful each day so that I’m not stuck with them.

What is something you would change about people in the world
The intolerance to other opinions from any end of the spectrum

How do you feel about people in the world
I feel that we are in a rough spot right now, but the people are better than ever before. I feel there is still a long way to go, though. With racism, 3rd world hunger and human trafficking still around we still have a long path ahead.

What is something you’ve struggled with in life
Self-Image definitely. I grew up in an overweight family, and I wasn’t a popular kid growing up. Both affected me a lot, and I still struggle with it now. Another thing I’ve struggled with is depression, though it has eased up as of late.

What is a positive message you would give others
Whatever you’re in, it’ll be fine. If it isn’t fine now, someone in your life wants to make it fine with you.

Last question if you could make a difference in the world how would you do that
I would probably write a book or direct a movie about experiences of different classes and races as well as location to expose a new side to living
