Megan Interview

Hi I’m Megan, I’m 22 years old and I do hair, nanny, and am a full time college student.

What inspires you everyday

I’m inspired by lots of things, each day I go to work and see the children I nanny learn how to be better people that care about and for those around them I’m inspired I’m also inspired by the people around me who strive to make a difference in this world, no matter how big or small it may seem. I try to model myself after people like that.

What is something you would change about people in the world

I would change people’s demeanor and attitude towards others. There are so many people in this would who treat those around them like total garbage. This is a terrible thing, I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with kindness no matter what. We never know what someone is going through and to treat someone poorly whether you know them or not is wrong

What is your view on the people in the world

I believe that people in the world today are inherently good but sometimes make the wrong decisions. Everyone has the capability to be the best person and are able to make good choices. All it takes is a little bit of effort.

What is something you’ve struggled with in life

I’ve dealt with depression and anxiety since I was very young. Trying to deal with this has been one of the most challenging things in my life being incapable to leave my house let alone my bed is not fun or easy. But I’ve found healthy ways to cope

What is a positive message you would give others

Keep your head up always, even when it’s hard and feels like the weight of the world is going to crush your little body, keep your head up. Things will be hard but if you keep trying and stay positive there will be little things that bring you so much joy. Those little things will turn into bigger, and bigger things.

Last question if you could make a difference in the world how would you do

I would inspire those around me and around the world to do what they love. I’m in school to teach special education and elementary education. My goal is to inspire these young brilliant children to set goals for themselves and go out and make it happen. I wish that I could change the lives of children all over the world, to show them their worth and let them know that they are capable of accomplishing all of there hopes and dreams whether they are disabled or not
