Aniya Interview

my name is Aniya, i’m a 15 year old artist, i’m very passionate about my work. i love music, animals, affection, happiness, and art in general. i’m very shy but i’m also a goof. i’m always smiling or laughing all the time. i’m sensitive as well. i express my feelings through my paintings, and sometimes through my poems.
What inspires you everyday

seeing my mom struggle with raising my sister and i definitely inspires me to be more than just “good” at what i do, so hopefully in the future i won’t have to worry about the things she worries about right now.

What is your view on the people in the world

i feel as if ignorance plays a big a role on lots of people in the world. everyone’s just so sudden to speak on something they know nothing about. a lot of people are just so hateful, bitter, and carry so much of a horrible energy, and i feel like there’s no reason for it to be like that at all. as long as there’s ignorant people with such small minds nothing will be changed.

What is something you’ve struggled with in life

my depression is definitely something i’ve struggled with growing up

What is a positive message you would give others

a positive message i’d like to give to other is to always be kind to other because you never know what they’re going through, and to also be kind to yourself. positivity is the key in the universe. you receive what you give out.

Last question If you could make a difference in the world how would you do it

if i could make a difference in the world i would actually try to change things and not only talk about it. for instance, the government always talk about things that are happening and that it needs to be fixed but never do anything about it sometimes (ex. Flint, Michigan’s water situation). actually doing something and not only talking about it is a huge difference and could make a huge difference in the world.
