Paiten Interview

Well, my names Paiten and I’m a sophomore in high school and I spend the majority of my time with my friends or family.

What inspires you everyday

The idea of being able to support myself financially and mentally when I get older inspires me. My parents have gone through a lot and they always give me the best that they can. I want to be like that with my family when I’m older.

What is something you would change about people in the world

I would definitely have to change competition in people throughout the world. Competition seems to be the basis of most problems like war or political problems. People trying to be better than another person just sets us back. If we could realize, hey, these people are starving, so instead of sitting on our $3,000 dollar chair we could be helping everyone else.

What is your view on the people in the world

Some are great, while others are just terrible people. Some people do things for the greater good, while others focus on making others feel bad.

What is something you’ve struggled with in life

Loving myself is a struggle I’ve always been fighting for. I feel good about how I look and my personality until the smallest thing is said or a certain pair of jeans don’t fit the same anymore

What is a positive message you would give others

Stop comparing yourself to others, because no matter what you are always unique and beautiful. Please don’t think you need to look like anyone other than yourself because you are amazing and as long as YOU think you look amazing, it really doesn’t matter what anyone else in the world thinks.

Last question what is a goal you would like to achieve in the world

I would like to be able to travel the world with the person I’m married to.
