Austin Lanning Interview

What’s up, so I’m Austin Lanning and I live in central Texas. I enjoy music, acting, writing, and building relationships with other people as well as strengthening my faith while doing so. Most of my time is spent traveling and taking on life’s adventures with friends.

What inspires you everyday

Most importantly my belief in Jesus. We’re not promised anything, but knowing that we have today as a gift we have to use it while we can because it may be our last. No moment is ever pointless

What is you would change about people in the world

I would give them understanding. A worldwide perspective that shows that they aren’t the only ones on this world and that even though people don’t see eye to eye that doesn’t give an excuse for violence or cruelty. They are still people and have different cultures that have created a way of life. In order to accept one another we have to understand one another

What is your view on the people in the world

I think that every one is a good person with bad decisions. Even the bad decisions are good ones in their eyes based on their knowledge. However the world has grown away from the idea of family, morals, and values and have idolized money, fame, sex, alcohol, drugs, and temporary pleasures. We live in a world that wants thing instantly even if it doesn’t last long.

What is something you’ve struggled with in life

Growing up I was not well received in society and experienced bullying and isolation on a daily basis resulting in dealing with depression, suicidal thoughts and attempts, and anxiety for 5 years which I have learned to overcome with my faith and those that have supported me but continues to affect me to this day

What is a positive message you would gives others

I would tell people to never lose hope. No matter what your situation is or where you are in life, where there is a breath, there is possibility. The only time it is ever over is when that is your belief.

Last question what is a goal you would like to achieve in the world

I want to leave this world better than i found it
