Jacob Mcdonald Interview

my name is Jacob McDonald. I am 20 years old, I was born in Chicago, Illinois and was mostly raised in Florida.

What inspires you everyday

music. it’s all about music.

What is something you would change about people in the world

the discrimination/hate we have against eachother. there is too much negative energy in the world, and some people thinking that discrimination is only one sided as if not all races can be racist or hateful toward eachother. I feel like sometimes so many of us forget that we all bleed the same color, and that we are all different in ways but also the same in that we are all human and that’s something that everybody can always share. It doesn’t help that the media covers stories

Just for bigger pockets alone. I don’t want to sound like some conspiracy theorist, but there is so much that they hold back from us and if you look around and put those pieces together, you’ll see why we have these race wars and spite towards one another. discrimination towards another is entirely ignorant and ridiculously close minded, downright fucking stupid.

What is your view on the people in the world

considering the experiences i’ve had with people over the years, i’m kind of on the fence with that question. I know there is good, but I know there is much bad. I can tolerate people, but I can’t put trust into them as easily as I used to. as far as I see now, there are snakes and rats that’ll stab you in the back, driving confusion, frustration, depression etc. to the victim. and then there are the doves that will carry powerful and positive messages and lead others to good and righteous acts.

What is something youve struggled with in life

something I still struggle with to this day. depression/anxiety

What is a positive message you would give others

as generic as it seems, never give up. I can’t be the one to say that it gets better, because it sure as hell doesn’t always, not for every single person, and that’s just reality. But I can that when you try and keep trying, things will improve with time. it takes patience.

Last question what is a goal you would like to achieve in the world

to inspire people in some way. I don’t know what way that will be, but that’s my goal
