Stephen Benitez Interview

My name is Stephen Benitez. I’m 14 years old. I’m from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I’m a freshman at ATC ( Atlantic Technical Center ).

What inspires you everyday

I used to have no confidence and had no motivation to continue having dreams and goals. Now, I have friends and family that support me through everything and will always have my back in a situation. I also have grown so much confidence that I don’t care what people say about me or let it effect my self-esteem. From nothing to having a will to live is what inspires me daily.

What is something you would change about people in the world

Something I would like to change about people in this world is the disparity between different races. I don’t like the fact that the races have issues with other either due to past events or current events. I hope one day that we will all have something in common so we can all come closer to peace.

What is your view on the people in the world

My view on the people in the world is very negative one. There is people out there that easily do crimes and don’t care about innocent lives. Also, people don’t take innocent lives into consideration when it comes to those crimes.

What is something youve struggled with in life

I’ve struggled with self-confidence my whole life, just recently i have very high self-confidence. I used to have no confidence and I used to thing that life would just be a sleep, work, pay bills, and repeat kind of thing. I’ve learned that is wrong and that don’t let your self-doubt get you to reach your goals and what you want to achieve.

What is a positive message you would gives others

Always stick to what you believe you are because at the end of the day, everyone will continues with there life and will forgot about you and if you stick on what they say then you’ll never surpass

Last question what is a goal you like to achieve in the world

I’d like for everyone to accept each other as it is because the world is always changing and we have to adapt to the change
