Hi! My name is Gabrielle Pope, I live in Montana and I’m 16.
What inspires you everyday

I’m inspired by the beautiful things in my life, I see delicate mountains far off, on my way to school every day. And the captivating skies that are unbelievably beautiful; I see people giving other people their coats when it’s cold out and the silly faces and warm hugs from the kids that I get when I come into work. I live for those moments, so I guess the kindness and beauty that I see is what inspires me.
What is something you would change about people in the world

I think our world doesn’t get enough credit for all of the amazing things and people in it sometimes we as people just focus on the bad but if I could change one thing, I would have to say that I wish human kind was just a little bit more kind. Like my grandma always said, “Kind people make the best kind of people.”
What is your view on society today

Our society is flawed, too often we do things out of hate, malice and envy and we are judgmental; part of that is in our biological makeup but a big part can be learned. I also think that our society too often focuses on the aftermath of tragic events rather than learning and teaching preventative acts. But those are just the big things.
What is something you’ve struggled with

I’ve struggled with sensitivity, I read into people too much and I give people too much of my trust and I end up hurting myself. I am passionate about silly things and don’t do well with the criticism that comes with. The world doesn’t really leave room for weak people so I’m learning how to deal with things but I think I will always have a problem with feeling too much
What is a positive message you would give others

I would like people to know that you’re really never going to regret being nice, it may be hard to do but I think that the world works in mysterious ways and the nicer you are to people the nicer the world is to you
Last question what is a goal you would like to achieve in the future

sorry i didn’t see this until now. I want to be happy, and I know that probably sounds cliche but I wish to be content with myself and my life. That is my ultimate goal. I want to get to a point in my life where I am thrilled with all the choices I make and with the people and the life that I’ve built around myself
