Hi my name is Caitlin, I am 17 years old and am currently living in Lincoln in the UK. I love sport, art and socialising with my friends!
What inspires you everyday

People who go out their way to make sure someone has a good day, whether it’s holding the door for someone or paying for someone’s bus fair, I believe in the butterfly affect and that every action you do to another individual will affect other people later on in the line, so why not make it positive.
What is something you would change about people in the world

I would erase violence. There is is too much of it going on in the world, wars, hate crimes, terrorism and unfortunately the majority of it boils down to religion which is something that is supposed to promote peace and love, instead it leads to conflict of opinions.
What is your view on society today

Society is a bit of a weird one. There are terrible things happening all over the world on a daily basis but only the big payout ones are broadcasted on the news rather than informing the third world on what is happening in other countries. Teenagers are suffering more and more from depression, anxiety and behavioural problems than ever before. Animals are being killed just for fun even though they are close to extinction. Racism, sexism and other forms of discrimination are on the rise.
What is something you’ve struggled with

Confidence. I’ve never really felt confident with the way I look or my body in general no matter how many positive comments I get.
What is a positive message you would give others

Welcome every morning with a smile. Look on the new day as another special gift from your Creator, another golden opportunity to complete what you were unable to finish yesterday. Be a self-starter. Let your first hour set the theme of success and positive action that is certain to echo through your entire day. Today will never happen again. Don’t waste it with a false start or no start at all. You were not born to fail.
Last question what is a goal you would like to achieve in the future

My future goal is to become a better person and to be successful. And I want to become an inspiration to others.
