my name is oriana ren. I used to be a second year accounting and finance major at a school in Boston, but ultimately decided to immerse myself in the creative industry in pursuit of design. currently I live in NY, preparing my portfolio for art schools and working as a graphic design intern.
What inspires you everyday

the unknown. the fact that we aren’t able to fathom everything about the world but we keep trying anyways because we can
What is something you would change about people in the world

I wish people would take the time to verify their intuitions with more thought. “ignorance is bliss” does not change the reality we live in.
What is your view on society today

We have a long way to go, but our civilisation is rather young so there’s much promise.

What is a positive message you would give others

Let yourself enough to make mistakes. Trust yourself enough to believe that no matter what hardships you may face, you will find a way to make it meaningful.
Last question what is a goal you would like to achieve in the future

To collect as many stories in as many different forms possible. Or to figure out what part of the creative industry I’d like to be a part of.
