I’m Kayla, 20 years old, from Texas.
What inspires you everyday?
My son. He just turned 3. He changed my life. Langston is so silly and smart, definitely a handful. He motivates me each day to work hard & never give up.
What is something you would change about people in the world?
Probably how judgmental people can be. You shouldn’t someone. You never know what someone personally has going on, what they’re going through, or what they’ve been through before.
You should look at everyone with an open mind before jumping to conclusions in who they are.
What is your view on society today?
Not all, but a lot of people are very opinionated, judgmental, and set in their ways. Not a lot of people have an open mind. There have been a lot of racism issues over the past fews years & I think it shows a lot into what society is developing into. It’s almost like we are stuck, or going backwards instead of positively progressing & moving forward.
What is something you’ve struggled with
Probably depression after pregnancy and past relationships. It has been an up and down roller coaster for me. I lost a lot of people I thought were friends and that wasn’t easy for me. I had a lot of issues with my family during and after pregnancy and that really changed my mindset on some things. I finally moved past a mentally abusing relationship that was tearing me apart. After three years I am finally happy again. I’m loving life, even on the rough days. I don’t let the little things drag
me down anymore. I stay has positive and honest with myself and others as I can be.
What is a positive message you would give others?
One of my favorite quotes… “Kindness is a wonderful way to let another struggling soul know that there is still love in this world.” 💜
Last question what is a goal you would like to achieve in the future?
To be able to provide for my son and future family without any worries. To be able to show them unconditional love and support no matter what
