What inspires you everyday?
that’s sort of a hard question. i guess my family inspires me a lot because they’re all so hardworking and i strive to be a little like them all. also God inspires me to be the best person everyday.
What is something you would change about people in the world?
i would definitely change the mindset of people who think stereotypically. a lot of people in the world are closed minded and trapped inside a certain way of thinking. if something is different or out of the ordinary people tend to try to shut it down. the world should embrace diversity because it’s what makes everyone unique
What is your view on society today?
right now society where i live is struggling. with the new president in america society is going to crash. it’s all about hate and bigotry when a community as grand as ours should be about kindness and love. but i know that there’s a lot of people out there fighting and who know what’s right so i think society can rise up soon.
What is something you’ve struggled with?
ive struggled a bit with my self image. sometimes i feel that i look or sound strange and that people don’t want to be around me. for a little bit i used to think maybe my friends only hung out with me through pity. i don’t talk the same as everyone else. i have a speech impediment where i can’t say my r’s. they usually sound like w’s, as if i’m a child. the biggest struggle is having to overcome those thoughts and bring myself back up to higher ground.
What is a positive message you would give others?
the biggest message i try to spread is that suffering doesn’t last. whatever bad is happening there will always be something good after it. giving up at rough times is the worst thing to do to yourself. “the pain that you have been feeling cannot compare to the joy that is coming.” romans 8:18. i want people to know that happiness is worth the fight and the struggle.
Last question what is your definition of a peaceful world?
to me i don’t think that there could ever really be a peaceful world. to end all war and pain, to live in complete unison, well that would be quite a task and sort of boring in all honesty. i think that the closest thing to peace would be acceptance (no matter what religion, sexuality, race, gender, etc) and patience. with that the world would be at its best.
and to add to my introduction i’d like to say i’m a 15 year old in my sophomore year of high school. i’m a musician and a writer. 🙂
