Chrissy Interview

Tell alittle bit about yourself?

I’m 16 and in high school. My dad is a single dad. I’m an only child. My mom left us when I was a baby. My dad works for an organization that helps builds schools in countries that need them so I’ve always traveled with him so I’ve gone to so many places.
What inspires you?

My dad. He does everything he can to help people and I want to do the same.
😊😊😊😊😊 what would you change about the world?

I’d change it so nobody was struggling about their next meal. Everyone would know that they were going to eat every day.
What is your view on the black lives matter thing?

I don’t really have an opinion. I tend to ignore it because everyone blows everything about it out of proportion.
What is a life lesson you would give others?

To go explore and live life. Fulfill your dreams and stop procrastinating.
I noticed your page says photography you do photography?

Yes I do.
What is something you struggled with?

I struggled moving a lot. I wasn’t really able to make friends, I was the weird girl.
Last question do you feel like we can make a difference in the world and why
Yes I do. People doing what they do every day is making a difference. It might be a small difference but it still is one.

Sammy Interview

1. Tell alittle bit about yourself?

Well then, starting off with the hard questions.
I’m 16( I’ll be 17 tomorrow).
I’m gay. Very very gay. Not just a little. VERY gay.
I am a very big supporter of the LGBTQ+ community.
I want to be a journalist.
What inspires you?

Easy, my best friend Evie. She’s so positive and upbeat. Even when she’s going through a hard time she makes sure everyone else is happy before worrying about herself.
I met her online a couple months ago because someone just added a bunch of random people to a group chat and we found out we lived pretty close to each other. We’ve been close since.
What would you change about the world?

She is quite wonderful.
I would change so many things but I’ll just pick one. I would make it so LGBTQ+ people were accepted. Wouldn’t have to “come out”.  It would be normal.
What is a life lesson you would give others?
To chill out and live life to its fullest. Life goes fast and you only have one life.
What is something you’ve struggled with?

That was a hard question. I honestly haven’t struggled too much.

Probably losing my grandpa to cancer 6 years ago.
What is your view on the black lives matter thing?
People need to stop making fun of it by saying things like “purple lives matter” and whatnot. Black Lives Matter is just about how people need to stop discrimination against blacks. It’s not saying other lives don’t matter it’s just saying black ones do.
Last question do you feel like we can make a difference in the world and why?

Yes. We already have, good and bad

Evie Interview

Tell alittle bit about yourself

I’m 15. I live in Florida. Both my parents are in the medical field.

I love art. Painting is my passion.
What inspired you to become a artist?

Honestly, I don’t know. Just ever since I was little and could hold things in my hands I would draw on  everything. I would draw with whatever would work. I used food most of the time. Once I got a bit older though I would go to museums or online and just admire art from artists but mainly Picasso.
What is something you would change about the world

There’s so many things that need changing in this world.
Hate.
Too many people in this world hate people for the littlest things. If people don’t like something or someone then keep it to yourself. Don’t go and put others down.
People just need to accept  everything no matter how different they are.
What is a life lesson you would give others

This is a tough one.
Don’t take things for granted, small or big.
I learned that the hard way.
Three years ago my 9 year old sister went missing and I never saw her again.
I took her for granted and never told her I loved and cared about her enough and then it was too late.
What is something you’ve struggled with?

I’ve struggled to live up to my family’s expectations.
Both sides of my family are filled with family members in the medical field.
My dad is a brain surgeon and my mom is a ICU nurse.
My parents just want me to be whatever I wish but the rest of my family want me to be something in the medical field. My older brother is a pilot for the US Air Force and my whole family scolds him for it and says he’s a disgrace. Nobody will even speak to him.
I don’t think I want to be in the medical career but I don’t want my aunts and uncles and grandparents and everyone to disown me.
Do you feel like we can make a difference in the world?

Of course!
Haven’t we already made a difference?
Anybody can make a difference if they put their minds to it.

Last question what do you plan to do in the future?

A lot of people probably say this but I plan to make a difference.
I want to help make a difference in how people see others.
Like I said earlier, I plan to help stop all the hatred that is here in this world.

Meg Kirkland Interview

Tell alittle bit about yourself

well i’m 17, i’m in a magnet high school in nashville tennessee, i play softball, i want to be a surgeon, and i work at sonic
What inspires you?

what inspires me is when people tell me i can’t do something or that i am incapable of accomplishing something that i want to accomplish. i just want to prove people wrong and show that i am capable and if i want something then i’m gonna go for it, cause if i want it then it’s obviously worth the struggle to get it (unless it’s unreasonable, like when i just want food or something)
What is something you would change about the world?

well personally, one thing i actually plan on helping to change is the lack of medical attention in third world countries. i plan on going to med school then joining doctors without borders so i can bring much needed medical attention to those who need it,but don’t have the kinda easy access that we do here in first world countries
What is a life lesson you would give others?

well it’s one thing that i am still trying to learn, but everything happens for a reason. i’m actually diagnosed bipolar so i’ve hit some pretty low rock bottoms in my life but i’ve become a much stronger person because of everything thats happened. especially in the past year or so, lots of people have commented on how much better i’ve been doing, and yeah bad shit still happens to me – i mean the only thing fair about life is that it’s unfair to everyone. nobody’s life is perfect. but all the bad things that happen to a person are carefully planned out by God, for whatever reason that we will never understand, to make us better people or make us stronger or make us into whatever He wants us to be. even if there’s something we want more than anything in the world and we don’t end up getting it – there’s a reason that outcome was the one that happened and maybe your life is better because of it
What is your view on the black lives matter movement?

hahah. well. it all just seems so complicated to me. i try to stay out of all of that. i mean i’m definitely not racist or anything, i believe everybody’s life matters just as much as the next guy, no matter what his/her skin colour is. but everyone’s blowing this all so out of proportion to me. like, idk. it seems like it’s getting worse and more and more of a big deal because nobody’s actually trying to solve anything or be content with their own opinion. everyone just wants to convince other people of their own personal views because everyone things their opinions are right.
Do you feel like we can make a difference in the world and why?

well i would love to think that it’s possible to make a difference, but everyone in the world says “i want to make a difference” at some point in their lives, but rarely do those people actually follow though with their statement. the world definitely needs to change, there’s no doubt about it. the reason these changes never happen is like the same thing i said in my black lives answer. everyone thinks their own opinion is law and they desire only to convince everyone else of their own views. everyone in the world is different and there’s always people who don’t want to change their views, and they all have their reasons and their right for doing so. i just believe that everyone’s too different to be able to make a change that will satisfy everyone. even if we did change things, somebody would be unhappy and want to make more changes. so basically, yes, we can change the world, and the world changes every day? but it will never stop changing because there will always be more things to change.

In my opinion from experience people can be cruel and hurtful. If everyone could treat others with respect, kindness, and equality. it’ll make the world a better place
