Tell a little bit about yourself?

Well, my name is Nestor David Romero Gomez. I’m 18 years old. I was born in Venezuela and lived through it till i was 11. I moved to the u.s. living in Miami for a year. My da is in the army so we got moved to Enterprise, Alabama where Ft. Rucker is. I’ve been there for almost 7 years now. I’m fluent Spanish and second language English. I plan on going to Troy University next fall to major in nursing! Also I love chicken.
What was your inspiration?

Well i moved to the u.s. for a better future. Venezuela, if you know, is #1 dangerous, #1 worse in all. It’s in such a bad condition that its sad. I’m currently here visiting my family until November. I work over there and i send money here every two weeks to help my family out.
What is something you would change about the world?

End wars, racism, hunger, I just want everyone to get along. We’re all humans, same race. I dont understand why we split.
What is a life lesson you would give others

Don’t take anything or anyone for granted.
What is something you’ve struggled with

Anger problems.
What do you plan to accomplish in life?

Besides majoring in nursing, eat 100 chicken nuggets with ranch.
Do you feel like we can make a difference in the world and why?

We can. Because if we make world peace there wouldn’t be conflicts anymore. And we can all help end world hunger and poverty. Where all of us can be equal
